those early recordings.

Lalah Hathaway
Tuesday,
Oct. 25 at 8 p.m., Royce Hall
With his “supercharged, volcanic and mind
blowing” bass-playing [NPR], Marcus Miller has earned great acclaim for
his solo albums and as a standout session player with the likes of Miles Davis,
David Sanborn, George Benson, Chaka Khan and many others. Following the success
of his 2001 Grammy-winning album “M2” and his recent release “Silver
Rain,” Miller makes his UCLA Live debut in a double bill with the beguiling and
versatile R&B songstress Lalah Hathaway. Daughter of the great Donny
