Friends and Music Lovers,

As many of you know, I am from New

Orleans. Cabrini Schneider, owner of Cabrini's Jazz Alley,

is from New Orleans

as well.  Obviously, we are distraught by the destruction caused by

hurricane Katrina. The devastation is far beyond what can be captured on

television. Thousands of people are homeless, some even missing, including

immediate members of Cheryl Butler's family, Cabrini Schneider's family, my

family and many others who now live in Los Angeles. Timely resources is the

best way we can help rebuild the lives of so many affected by this disaster.

 Join us for the Jazz-A-Thon to aid the victims of hurricane Katrina.

Doors open at 5:00PM on Friday, September 9th and the music goes to 5:00PM

Sunday, September 11th. We ask you to come out, lend your support, and donate

money and clothes to the “Rebuild New Orleans” fund. Help us keep the

spirit of the “BIG EASY” alive and well during this time of tragedy

and grief.
