Hey Everyone,

I had a great time at the Walt Disney Concert Hall Gala Opening

Celebration last night. The Disney Concert Hall is one of the premier

places in the world to see the best in classical and jazz music!

“Grands on Grand” was the theme for last nights performance and it

featured Richard Strauss's “Festival Prelude Opus 61, Wolfgang Amadeus

Mozart's “Concerto in F major for Three Pianos”,  Hexameron”, a

six solo piano concerto composed by Franz Liszt and John Philip

Sousa's, “Stars and Stripes Forever”.

After the performance, there was quite a festive gala with dinner and music provided by the Henri Mancini Institute!

I am off to Oakland in just 2 hours so I have to get on the road. I

have a few articles in that I have to write for you, Jack Sheldon at

the Westin and “An Evening of Jazz” presented by the John Coltrane

Foundation.

Enjoy your weekend and I will see you next week!!!!
