The Cat Club

Why do they call it the Cat Club? Because of the Cats man!
And on its first night for jazz, Ryan Cross brought out a number of LA's
local jazz talent and put on quite a show!
The Cat Club has been in existence for quite sometime, usually hosting a variety
of Rock and Roll performances. It is a nice cozy intimate environment and just
the right place for late night jazz on Monday nights. This jazz jam session might
just put it on LA's jazz map!
Everyone in the house had talent. Players like Ryan Cross, who ran the session,
Lorca Hart, Michael Bluestein, Ted Falcon, Tony Austin, Zane Musa, Raya
Yarbrough (Click on picture above for video) and Derrick Finch were just a few of cats holdin' down the place.
Ryan is looking forward to making it an every Monday night jazz hang. For now,
it was just one great night of improvisational music. The Cat Club is located
on the Sunset Strip right next to the Whiskey a-go-go club. So, if you gots
skills, come on out and play or if you just want to be a part of a low
key, high energy kick ass jazz jam, contact Ryan Cross for the next Monday night
jazz jam at the Cat Club.
