I went to see it.

STILL processing it...

Albert Ayler was amazingly honest. The hard part of his sojourn... his need to be as honest with himself and his MUSE/vision as possible while living in/on THIS plane. I understood more about the level of honesty it takes to live your own truth... even if you must take to the next - who of us are willing to truthfully BE WHO we ARE? TO KNOW the importance of your birth-right - as given to you and required of you...

Bro was deep - and his voice made it even deeper - him telling HIS own STORY and HIS MUSIC being the confirmation... the HEALING... I know so MANY people from the same place he's from...

Thank you for posting the notice of the movie. I really wanted to see it but would have missed it if not for you Jazzcat!

WB,

I am so glad that you got a chance to see the film. I don't know to many people who take the time out to appreciate the history of a jazz musician that had something to say but was very rarely heard. I wanted for myself to explore the mind behind the music.
thank you again for keepin' up wit da Cat!
