Born right here in Los Angeles, CA was one of the true heros of the music, the Underdog himself, Mr. Charles Mingus. His passion eminated through the lion headed curvatious hollow body of a woman who sang his praises when carressed by his powerful touch!
Charles
wrote longest and most beautiful piece of music and said, "When I die,
put this on my tomb stone"," Epitaph". He was never able to perfom the
piece in its entierty but, with the help of Christian McBride and
Gunther Shuller, the music will RISE again!
