The Living Water

Living, breathing,

exuding, life, love and music. Powerfully moving our emotional spirits,

Dwight Trible is the almighty conductor that emanates spiritually

soulful truths into our beings through his music. This new CD, “The

Living Water” is a collection of outstanding pieces of music. Each just

as emotionally moving as the next. The inspiration behind the music

comes from versions of John Coltrane’s “Africa” with lyrics by Abbey

Lincoln , Nina Simone’s version of  “Wild as

the Wind” and other incredible compositions. It is not a CD of Gershwin

tunes or tunes from the American Songbook. These are pieces that are

moving and have feeling. Add that Dwight Trible sound and you end up

with an outstanding selection of inspired music.

The World Stage was

PACKED for the release of this long awaited CD! For 2 full sets, Dwight

and his awesome host of comrades brought you in peacefully and sent you

out singin’ and feelin’ the spirit! The audience is moved with every

scream, shout and sound of joy coming from the bandstand. The finest

musicians in Los Angeles,

John Rangel, Trevor Ware, Daniel Berjarano, Joshua Speigleman, and the

amazing Derf Reklaw were holdin’ all of the love together. A fine night

in Lemeirt Park

where music thrived and was in the air.

So many supporters came out to

support this awesome band. These are the people who talked on the

street after the show, getting to know one another. A sense of

community, jazz community, just like back in the day. A modern day 52nd street, The World Stage as well as the other venues on the block are making Lemeirt Park a dominant mainstay for music, community, the arts, conversations and jazz, jazz, jazzzzzzzz!

Speaking of the arts,

Kamal Dauud is the outstanding poet with such a passion for words and

expressing them in such a way that catches you up in a whirlwind of

power, a vernacular tornado! Buy it, support it, listen to it, breathe

it, become it, seach for it, tap into the source and go straight to “

The Living Water”!!!!!
